Application Fee: $50.00 (one-time, required for new applications or if inactive for over 6 months)The application fee covers the administrative effort required to process new client applications. This includes verifying information, setting up client profiles in the system, and initial documentation.
Breathalyzer Usage Fee: $25.00 (if required)is to cover the costs associated with maintaining and operating breathalyzer devices. This includes regular calibration to ensure accuracy, purchasing disposable, sterile mouthpieces for hygiene. The fee also supports the training of staff on the proper use and interpretation of the devices, along with the necessary documentation and reporting of test results to relevant parties. Breathalyzer tests are mandated for any individual with a record on the Consolidated Court Automation Programs (CCAP) related to substance abuse or if requested by any party involved in the visitation. a
One-Hour Visitation: $50.00
Two-Hour Visitation: $100.00
Three-Hour Visitation: $150.00
Four-Hour Visitation: $200.00
Five-Hour Visitation: $275.00
Location Assessment Fee: $50.00
This fee is charged for the evaluation of non-standard visitation locations that are not on the pre-approved list of venues. Please request a location at least a week ahead of time. This does not mean that all locations will be approved. The assessment involves checking the suitability, line of sight, and noise level of the proposed location to ensure it meets the standards required positive visitation environment.
Non-Standard Location Visitation Fee: $75.00 per hourThis fee applies when visitations are held at locations that require additional logistical planning and increased supervisory presence beyond standard settings (ie. special festivals or events) .The higher rate compensates for the additional complexities involved in coordinating and supervising visits at non-standard locations, which might include extended travel times for supervisors, special setup requirements, and potential need for additional cameras to handle unexpected scenarios.
In-Home Visitation Fee: $100.00 per hour
Charged for visitations conducted within a residential setting, which often involves a higher degree of complexity. This fee reflects the preparation to handle personal spaces sensitively, additional training for supervisors to manage private environments effectively, and the use of equipment like body cameras to maintain a record of the visit. In-home visitations require supervisors to adapt to more intimate and potentially unpredictable environments, necessitating a higher fee to cover the extra preparation, risk management, and oversight needed.
Mileage Charges: $1.00 per mile
This charge is applied to cover the travel expenses for supervisors traveling to and from visitation locations outside the standard service areas.
The mileage charge includes fuel, vehicle maintenance, and the time spent traveling by the staff. It ensures that the supervisors are compensated for the extended distance they cover, which is beyond the usual geographic scope of service.
These fees ensure that Out and About Visitation can continue to provide high-quality, tailored services across a variety of settings, addressing the unique needs and circumstances of each family we serve.

Veterans Day - November 11
Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November
Black Friday- Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve - December 24
Christmas Day - December 25
These holidays are recognized for special pricing due to their significance and the likelihood that staff working on these days are working overtime or during normally off hours, thus warranting higher compensation.
Covers up to a 20-minute exchange period.
Additional Fee: An additional $50.00 is charged if the exchange extends up to 40 minutes as this may affect other families services.
The "No Contact Exchange" service is designed for situations where it is deemed necessary by court orders or agreed upon by parties to avoid direct contact between parents during the transfer of children. This might be due to conflict or other sensitive issues that warrant such an arrangement.
These calls allow children to connect with parents or guardians under supervised conditions, using video technology well still being monitored in real time.
Includes the cost of zoom services, a recording after the visits, and notifying all proper parties to the action. During the call a supervisor monitors the call to ensure appropriate interactions and intervenes if necessary by either muting or terminating the call.
Testifying in Court Fees:
Half-Day: $300.00 up to four hours.
Full-Day: $500.00 up to 8 hours but cannot be spread on multiple days.
Once scheduled for court, our staff members may take the day off from regular duties to prepare and be present for testimony. This commitment blocks out their availability for other supervisory tasks or visitations, impacting scheduling and service provision.
Preparation Costs: Prior to the court date, significant effort goes into preparing for testimony. This includes reviewing detailed visitation logs, coordinating with attorneys, and ensuring all pertinent information is accurately represented. These activities involve both time and resources that cannot be recuperated.
Advance Payment Requirement: Payment for court testimony must be made in advance to confirm the availability of our staff and to ensure all preparatory actions are funded. This also helps manage the scheduling and resource allocation more efficiently.
No Refunds for Last-Minute Settlements: If a case settles on the day of the hearing, the fee remains non-refundable. This policy is in place because the staff member has already dedicated their day to the court appearance, which includes foregoing other paid activities or assignments. They need to be compensated for their reserved time and the work done in anticipation of the court appearance.
Payment Policy:
Prior Confirmation: Payment must be made prior to the court date to confirm that our staff will be present and prepared to testify.
Reopening/retrieval of Case File: $50.00
Charged when a case is reopened due to prior non-payment or inactivity. This fee covers administrative efforts to reactivate the case in our system and update all necessary records, as well as unarchiving any footage requested.
Late Payment Fee: $50.00
Imposed for late payments on scheduled services. This constitutes anything a week past the date of visitation or service rendered.
Late Retrieval Fee: $15.00 per 15 minutes
Applied if a parent arrives more than 5 minutes late for child pickup. This fee covers the additional time that staff must remain on-site beyond the scheduled end of the visitation, ensuring they are compensated for their extended availability as well as the potential delay of services being rendered to other families.
Parking Charges Reimbursement:
Charged on the next invoice if the supervisor incurs parking fees at an event or location. This ensures that out-of-pocket expenses for staff performing official duties are covered.
Each of our pre-approved locations has been carefully selected to for family visits. From peaceful parks to lively cultural venues, our diverse locations are designed to enhance every visitation experience, providing the perfect setting for meaningful interactions and lasting memories.

It’s much easier to reconnect with my kids in a natural, fun environment. Plus, they have been able to accommodate our constantly changing schedule.
Being in a supervised situation is tough, but Out and About made it as pleasant as possible. We went to a bowling alley and had lunch—places my son loves. It felt more like a day out than a supervised visit.
I appreciate how Out and About respects our family time by allowing us to choose activities that we actually enjoy. We’ve had some of our best visits at Urban Air and the kids always look forward to it!
I was nervous about my first supervised visit, but Out and About set it up at an arcade. My daughter and I had a fantastic time playing games together. It was a relaxed setting that really helped us both feel more comfortable.
At Out and About Visitation, our team members come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including social services, education, and child development. Each supervisor receives thorough training in observation, documentation, and de-escalation, with ongoing continuing education to stay up to date on best practices.
We focus on maintaining a neutral, structured environment so that families can spend time together without distractions. Our team is here to provide support, follow court guidelines, and ensure that visits run smoothly.
Out and About Visitation was born from a simple but powerful belief—families deserve a chance to bond in real-life moments, not just within four walls. I saw a need for a service that gave families the freedom to connect in parks, museums, and everyday places where memories are made, all while ensuring a structured and professional environment.
Every child deserves laughter, adventure, and the warmth of their parent’s love, even in challenging times. By offering flexible community-based visitations, breathalyzer accountability, and trained supervisors, Out and About creates a space where families can rebuild trust, enjoy quality time, and focus on what truly matters—their connection.
Our role isn’t to interfere or judge, but simply to make those moments possible. So, whether it’s a game of mini-golf, a trip to the zoo, or sharing a meal together, we’re here to support families in navigating their journey, one visit at a time.
